Together, we'll work to bring a mindfulness practice to your daily life. It doesn't mean sitting on a cushion for hours on end unless of course, you want to. There are simple techniques you can use to bring mindfulness into your life throughout the day.
Life can throw us lemons from time to time, but it's up to us to make the lemonade. Yes, there will be and is pain and suffering in our lives, but in contrast, there is also much joy to be found. Developing a mindfulness practice makes it easier to find positive aspects in every situation; not only when life is easy and going great, but when the going gets tough as well.
Sessions are available one-on-one or in a group setting. Individual appointments are recommended in person, however, if time and distance arrangements can be made using video apps or phone.
It may seem scary to sit in stillness, for those of us who are always busy and on the go it can be. But the benefits of meditation far outweigh the fear if you're willing to give it a try. By even spending a moment or two closing your eyes while taking a few deep breaths will benefit you and your body.
Deeper relaxation, reduced pain, increased resilience, improved focus and attention, and enhanced general wellbeing are additional side effects of meditation. There are also proven studies that show neurological changes with regular practice.

The Usui System of Reiki Healing is a hands-on practice. Reiki is an ancient healing technique that uses the Universal life force energy to balance the subtle energies within our bodies and to heal. Reiki practitioners act as a conduit or channel through which Reiki energy travels. The intended result of receiving Reiki is a balanced physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual being. Reiki is being used today in clinics and hospitals all over the world to support health, wellness and transition.
Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes. Please arrive a few minutes early if this is your first session to complete the necessary paperwork. If possible, it's best to have a restful day planned for afterward as you may experience subtle side effects and be sure to drink plenty of water following your appointment.
