I attended Amanda's workshop at the Simply Blossoming retreat about loving our bodies. I really liked how Amanda set up a quiet and relaxed space for us to learn and reflect on this sensitive topic.Amanda has so much lived experience and research to share about positive body image. Her passion for the topic comes through and has helped me to shift the way I think about what my body can do, instead of thinking negatively about my perception of it. I left that workshop feeling more connected to my body because of the activities she had us do. I'd highly recommend Amanda's workshops!! She has an extraordinary gift for connecting with her participants and helping shift mindsets.

Amanda, from Illuminated Life Works, came to Acton to facilitate a workshop for a group of my friends. While I knew everyone, they did not all know each other. Women of all ages were represented. In less than an hour, Amanda had us so comfortable that we could expose our greatest vulnerabilities in essentially a room full of strangers. We all understood we were in a safe place.
